Big Sur Craftsman Cabin
This is a secluded gem of a cabin with craftsman touches in a very lovely setting. It sits in a private corner of the property, with magical filtered light through the ancient oak and redwood forest. South-facing with a beautiful canyon forest view, it is very spacious (approx. 600 sq ft) with tinted plaster walls and arches giving it a very warm old-world feel. The quaint little bedroom is accessed by an outdoor covered staircase and has a spectacular view of the canyon ... many of our guests liken it to sleeping in a treehouse. There is very nice deck space on three sides of the cabin, where one can sit in sun or shade while enjoying the views and abundant bird life.... or relax in our deep antique clawfoot tub in the redwood garden room.
The Cabin can host up to 4 guests (1 bedroom & 1 pull out sofa).

Big Sur Apartment
This unit is the first floor of our main house but is still very private and quiet, with its own entrances, full kitchen and bath. Like the cabin, it has the same warm feel with tinted plaster walls and arches. It is very spacious (600 sq ft) and cozy. It opens onto a large grassy yard and has a nice ocean view. There is also a redwood garden room in which to sit and enjoy the view. Don't forget to look up at the night sky at the abundance of starlight away from city lights!
The Apartment can host up to 4 guests (1 bedroom & 1 pull out sofa).
Sauna
We now have a wood-fired sauna on the property, which is available for use to our guests as well as ourselves. The sauna has a large covered deck and sits in a quiet location, shaded beneath a giant and ancient live oak, with a beautiful forest view.
A perfect place to calm your spirit and feel the bounty of nature.
Attention birders: this is an ideal location for watching!
